Booking Policies

1. Reservation Confirmation Policies:

Reservations may be requested by e-mail: When filling the application, you must indicate the correct hostel where you want to make the reservation along with the correct dates of your visit, you will then receive a reply, indicating availability with either a reservation confirmation or the waiting list, in the absence of a reservation confirmation the booking will be considered invalid.

Applications must be accompanied by the details of the person making the reservations (first and last name), name of the hostel in which you are reserving, passenger data, date of entry and exit plus guest reentry if need be. Also if you have a negotiated rate please indicate the name of the same and / or series.

Communication about reservations, modifications, cancellations, etc.) should all be e-mailed responses from our reservations department, otherwise they will not be valid.Booking requests are only via email or by telephone (if by telephone you will still need an email confirmation so please request it by providing your email address).

2. Payment made by Paypal

  • Payments made via PAYPAL will be accepted once your reservation is
    processed and confirmed by our reservations department.
  • Payments made via PAYPAL will be subject to a 5% cost increase.
  • Once availability has been checked we will send you an email with a link that you will follow to make your payment.
  • We will then send you a confirmation message with a voucher from PAYPAL, please forward us that email with the voucher to: your reservation will be complete then.

3. Terms & Conditions:

  • Confirmed reservations must be pre-paid and guaranteed with the
    amount of your first night’s stay.
  • The tariffs in American Dollars will be changed into Peruvian Soles at the exchange rate of the date of the transaction. This conversion may cause the amount in your credit card statement to show a different amount.
  • If you cancel your reservation 7 days before the date of your check in you will be reimbursed a total of 100% of the amount deposited. The amount will be reimbursed into your Paypal or credit card account.
  • If the cancelation is made 48 hours before the date of your check in you will be reimbursed a total of 50% of the amount deposited. The amount will be reimbursed into your Paypal or credit card account.
  • If the cancelation is made inside the 48 hours before the date of your check in, if the guest does not show up, or if the cancellation is made after the check in date, no reimbursement will be given.
  • In the case that the guest’s credit card is invalid or denied, the reservation will be void.
  • Reservations are not transferrable.

4. Check In – Check Out Hours.

  • Check Out time is at 11:00 am, if you use the room until 6:00 pm you
    will be charged 50% of the value of the fare and after this time 100%
    of the price per night.
  • If you are leaving the next morning very early (between 12am and 6:00 a.m.) you should do your check out the night before 11:00 pm.

5. Hostel Rules

  • Avoid making noise after 10:00 pm in the indicated areas. Please
    respect the integrity of your roommates by maintaining an orderly
    clean and quiet room.
  • Please safely lock your belongings using a strong padlock in the
    locker provided to you. If you have valuables (passport, money,
    electronics, etc.) you can leave them at the reception. ECOPACKERS HOSTELS will not be responsible for any losses
  • If you would like to change your bed or room, please do so at the
    reception desk before 11:00 am (departure time), if you do not let the reception desk know then you will be charged an extra night.
  • If you want to cancel or extend your reservation, please approach the reception desk 24 hours before your scheduled departure.
  • If you have not removed your things from the room after your check out time, they will be removed and placed in to the luggage storage.
  • If you lose your assigned key given by reception, 5 soles will be
    added your account for the loss.
  • It is forbidden to bring out bedding (sheets, blankets, pillows,
    comforters, etc.) from the bedrooms.
  • Guests that generate disorder or problems will be automatically
    removed from the hostel.
  • Any illegal activity will not be tolerated for any reasons and will be
    duly punished and submitted to the competent authorities.
  • For reasons of hygiene and cleanliness it is forbidden to bring drinks and food into the rooms.All guests must wear the bracelet provided during their stay. In case of loss or damage please ask at reception for another. You must be able to show the hostel security or staff when required. This is for your safety and wellbeing.
  • Your friends are welcome at ECOPACKERS, you will just need to fill a short registration form at the front desk with our security personnel.
  • If you are expecting a telephone call or visitor, please wait at reception, otherwise the message will be taken for you.
  • Smoking is prohibited in rooms and public areas except for patios.
  • The entry of any alcoholic beverage into the Hostel is strictly
    PROHIBITED. Any bottle found that has not been purchased at the Hostel Bar will automatically be removed without notice.
  • It is strictly PROHIBITED to Smoke inside rooms or bring in food or beverages.
  • Guests are not allowed to wash their clothes in the bathrooms of theHostel.
