Sacred Valley Tour
This full day tour takes you to all the most famous and popular parts of the Sacred Valley starting off in the famous town of Pisac. This is a fully guided tour with an english speaking guide who will explain to you all about the different towns and ruins in the Sacred Valley.

Pisac market:
Pisac is famous for its Andean market where you can buy all kind of souvenirs for good prices is totally recommended to try the "empanadas" (salty pastries) with cheese with basil bites on it or the chicken option! Also don't miss the artisanal factories where the artists work the silver.
Pisac Ruins:
After a trip to the market we'll visit the impressive ruins that formed an ancient citadel and an important agricultural center. Of special note is the 'Intihuatana,' or Inka sundial.
Ollantaytambo:
This is almost the last ancient town alive in our society surrounded by different "Apus" (gods) who protect the amazing complex of Inka terraces used as religious and agricultural purposes .
Don't miss the Temple of the Sun and the Ñusta's bath.
Chinchero Excursion:
Chinchero is famous for its archaeological remains and traditional market as well as its Inca terracing.
Once the tour concludes in Chincheros we will start our way back to Cusco which will take 2 hours driving approximately arriving to Cusco by 18:30 pm (you will be dropped off near the Regocijo square).

Important!! :
In addition to the tour price, you must purchase a tourist ticket. A full tourist ticket costs s/130 or s/70 for students with a valid ISIC card. The full tourist ticket is valid for 10 days and allows entry to the majority of the Inca sites around Cusco and the Sacred Valley.
This is a better option if you plan on also combining the city tour, or visiting any of the archeological sites outside the sacred valley in Cusco.
An alternative option is to buy a partial tourist ticket which is s/70 or s/40 for students with a valid ISIC card.
This is valid for 1 day and will allow entry to all of the sites on the Sacred Valley Tour.

The Inca Trail will be closed in February for upkeep and maintenance work

From January 15 to March 31 will run the maintenance and conservation of the Inca trails leading to the citadel of Machu Picchu and, as usual, the access to these trails will be closed to visitors in February, said a regional authority.
"Everything is ready for the hard work of the maintenance of the trail, we have the equipment, tools and materials needed for this work," he said.
